Chongqing Smart Cultural Tourism Exhibition Held at Smart China Expo

Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development held the Chongqing Smart Cultural Tourism Exhibition to exhibit Chongqing’s remarkable achievements in the construction of smart cultural tourism. It also highlighted Chongqing’s big data application and intelligence level of the cultural tourism industry. The conference was themed “Pooling Intelligence in Chongqing, Elaborating Construction of Cultural Tourism” and took place in the exhibition hall of Smart China Expo. In terms of the overall design, the exhibition hall follows the concept of “A Land of Natural Beauty” to integrate landscape elements into the design, so as to make visitors experience innovative technologies while appreciating the unique charm of Chongqing as “A Land of Natural Beauty, A City with Cultural Appeal.”

Numerous Enterprises Including Alibaba, Tencent, and Ctrip Participate in the Exhibition

Numerous enterprises, such as Alibaba, Tencent, Ctrip, China UMS, China Mobile, CCN and Chongqing Tourism Cloud, participated in the Exhibition with their latest cultural tourism technologies and applications, providing one-stop cultural tourism application experience for visitors.

Alibaba Pictures displayed its Fenghuang Yunzhi, the first cloud-based cinema management system completing the national special fund record of China. China Mobile launched the Comprehensive Information Service Platform for Wushan Mountain All-for-one Tourism, integrating six modules of big data monitoring, industrial operation supervision, decision-making analysis, emergency management, and command and video surveillance.

Chongqing Tourism Cloud Information Technology Co., Ltd.premiered its AIOT Comprehensive Cultural Tourism Management and Control Platform, which uses technologies of big data and Internet of Things to visualize, control and manage the data of people, money and things in scenic areas.

Intelligent Cultural Tourism Management Platform put into Operation

Guided by Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development, four major big data platforms for culture and tourism debuted at 2019 SCE. They are Bayu Culture and Tourism Cloud, Rural Revitalization Big Data Platform, Culture & Tourism Big Data Cockpit, and Chongqing Memory Culture Big Data. They are jointly researched and developed by enterprises oriented by multiple dimensions like culture, tourism, and rural areas.

Numerous “Cool Techs” Hail the Event

On the site, advanced technologies, such as 5G, VR, AR, RFID, and GIS, have showcased their application achievements to scenarios involving culture, tourism, and rural area. Inheriting the conventional functions of previous guide machines, the “AI interactive multilingual guide machines” have supplemented such new function modules as intelligent voice interaction, real-time Q&A, NFC recognition, intelligent push, etc. Multilingual services, the speedy self-help lease, and super-long battery life are available to improve them further.
